Draft, not yet in force
This page is a draft, written while the site is being built. It has not been reviewed by a solicitor and does not apply yet. It is published early so that how the site behaves is not hidden while that review is arranged.
This page describes what this site collects and what it does with it.
What is collected
The business details an owner submits: name, description, category, phone, public email, website, Instagram, suburb, state, postcode, street address and coordinates. Every one of them is chosen for publication: a listing is a public page, and nothing on it is hidden. A listing is submitted through the form on this site or by email; either way it reaches us as an email, and we hold it until the listing is published or the correction is made.
Listings are public
A published listing, and every contact detail in it, is public by design. Being found is the whole point of a directory. Do not enter a number or an address you would not put on a shopfront.
Accounts and passwords
There are no accounts and no logins on this site, so there is nothing to sign in to and no password to store. A listing is maintained by hand, and the only address we hold for you is the one you wrote to us from.
Removing a listing
Ask, and it will be removed. Write from the account that created the listing, or from an address connected to the business.
The site is operated from Queensland, Australia, and the Privacy Act 1988 is part of what the review noted above has to settle. Nothing on this page should be read as a statement of what that Act requires.
